E-POSTER GUIDELINE

  1. Competition Category: Case Report/Case Series
  2. The presented Abstract and E-Poster must be original and must not have been previously presented or published in any scientific event or other media.
  3. Theme: Free, but must remain within the scope of anesthesiology and intensive care.
  4. The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English. The abstract must be in PDF format with a maximum of 300 words (excluding the title and references). References must be cited using the Vancouver reference style.
  5. The E-Poster must be created in Bahasa Indonesia.
  6. The E-Poster may contain text, tables, images, photographs, and other visual aids related to the chosen topic.
  7. The E-Poster file must be submitted in PDF format, in landscape orientation, with dimensions of 1920 x 1080 pixels (16:9 widescreen ratio). The layout must use a 3-column format on a single slide.
  8. A maximum of 4 colors is recommended (including the font color). A white background is suggested.
  9. The author’s name on the E-Poster must be written without academic titles. The author’s name and affiliation/institution must be written clearly. The first name is the presenter’s name (in italic and underlined).
  10. Word Count: 500 – 1,000 words (including the title, images, and tables).
  11. The E-Poster design should have an ideal composition of text and tables/images/photos. Images and tables must not exceed 50% of the poster’s area.

E-POSTER COMPETITION MECHANISM

  1. The E-Poster Competition is open to Medical Students, General Practitioners, and Residents (Sp1 & Sp2) in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.
  2. All E-Posters will be displayed on 4 show stands for 2 days (November 20-21, 2025).
  3. Selected E-Posters are eligible to be presented and will have the opportunity to win prizes.
  4. The selection results will be announced via WhatsApp and/or email.
  5. Poster participants must register for the symposium.
  6. Poster competition registration is free of charge.
  7. The E-Poster presentation session will be held on the event day in a designated room. Participants must be present in the presentation area 10 minutes before the discussion session.
  8. Each participant will have 8 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes for discussion, and 2 minutes for preparation.
  9. E-Posters will be assessed based on content, design, and presentation skills.

E-POSTER GUIDELINE

  1. Participants must prepare an E-Poster and Abstract according to the applicable provisions. Only E-Posters that meet the requirements will be assessed.
  2. All participants are expected to register their E-Poster via the form: …. before … November 2025 with the following terms and conditions:
  • Fill out the Form
  • Registrant’s name, profession, contact details, institution of origin
  • E-Poster Title
  • Type of E-Poster (Case Report/Series or Research)
  • Name of presenter and supervisor (full name including titles)
  • Department and institution name
  • Contact name and e-mail
  1. Uploaded files must be in the following format:
  • Abstract in PDF format with a maximum of 300 words (excluding title and references)
  • E-Poster in PDF format with a maximum size of 75 MB

GENERAL WRITING GUIDELINES

Title and Authors

    1. The manuscript title should be written concisely, must not contain abbreviations, and should not exceed 15 words.
    2. The title should be written using Arial font, size 14, bold, single spacing.
    3. The author’s name should be written in full with academic titles, department name, and institution.

Abstract and Keywords

  1. The abstract is written in paragraph form accompanied by 5 keywords, written in both Indonesian and English.
  2. The Research Abstract is written using Arial font, size 12, single spacing, and should not exceed 250–300 words. It consists of: 1) Introduction; 2) Subjects and Methods; 3) Results; 4) Conclusion.
  3. The Case Report Abstract should not exceed 300 words and consists of: 1) Brief Case Overview; 2) Management; 3) Success/Failure of Management.
  4. Keywords: anesthesia, bronchus, desaturation, endotracheal, cardiac (listed alphabetically), covering important points related to the article.

Manuscript Content

  1. The content of a Research paper consists of: 1) Introduction; 2) Methods; 3) Results and Discussion; 4) Conclusion and Suggestions.
  2. The content of a Case Report consists of: 1) Introduction; 2) Case; 3) Discussion; 4) Conclusion. 
  • Introduction: Description/definition or scope of the topic being raised (background, uniqueness, or specialty justifying the case selection, the objective of reporting the case, delivered concisely and clearly).
  • Case: a) Complete identity without patient name; b) Anamnesis, physical examination, supporting examinations, diagnostics; c) Management; d) Management observation, management outcome (success/failure); e) Delivered concisely and clearly, particularly highlighting aspects related to the problem in the case.
  • Discussion: a) Discuss the diagnosis and management of the case; b) Discuss the relationship between existing theories and actual data related to therapy outcomes (success/failure); difficulties, consistencies or inconsistencies with existing theories, comparison with other literature or theories.
  • Conclusion: Summarizes the discussion findings, including necessary suggestions for future research.

3. Uncommon abbreviations and footnotes are not permitted.

REFERENCES

  1. References should be selected with a publication date of less than 5 years, minimum 5 references.
  2. References are written in Vancouver format and listed according to the order of citation.
  3. The use of Arabic numbering is written in superscript form according to the reference list.
  4. If there are more than 6 authors, the 7th author and subsequent authors are written as dkk.
  5. Avoid using abstracts and personal communications, unless absolutely necessary.
  6. Journal names are written in abbreviations based on the Index Medicus list.
  7. The maximum number of references is 7 for the research category and maximum 5 for the case report/series category.
